Cozy Sorting is a business simulation sorting game with a match-3 element. In a cottage-style cozy eatery, the player sorts items into sets of three on wooden shelves. Their goal is to make the shelves look less messy for employees and customers.
The shelves features different beverages, desserts, fruits and vegetables, including cake slices, cheese wedges, coffee cups, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, grapes, honey and jam jars, peppers, pretzels, squash, sundaes, and water bottles. The shop also offers other types of merchandise, such as cookbooks, dog treats and potted plants. The player eventually unlocks a garden room as well.
The sorting process isn't a complicated one. The player merely needs to rearrange the items in open spaces. On many levels, they reveal one or more back rows of items that they must sort after completing the ones in the front of each shelf. They must also sometimes create a set using an unmovable item under a glass dome. When they do their job well, they receive coins and three stars.
Cozy Sorting offers three boosters that unlock at levels 5, 10 and 18. For example, the player can use a hammer to remove a selected set when they reach Level 5. When they reach Level 10, they can use double arrows to shuffle the remaining items on the shelves into new positions that reveal match opportunities.
The game also unlocks new items that the player can collect over time. These items appear after they reach specific milestones. Additionally, they can use their coins to update the upper-left corner avatar stamp. They collect extra coins in various ways, such as by playing a lucky spin wheel.
